A Certified Parks and Recreation Executive, he serves on the CAPRA and holds advanced degrees in Recreation and Sports Management, and a Doctorate in Parks and Recreation Administration.

For over 20 years, Kate has achieved success within the Parks and Recreation industry in the United States and New Zealand. Strategically minded with day-to-day operational knowledge, Kate has a strong work ethic and a passion for the industry that has led her to their current role as Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Allen, Texas. Specializing in facility development, Kate also has expertise in cost-effective programming, strategic planning, policy and planning, project management, and community engagement.
